This year's International Women's Day theme is 'Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress' so we invite you to a morning of networking, sharing and discussion with women backing and building start-ups across Aotearoa. Hearing the challenges, the wins, the progress made to date, and what is needed going forward. Although this event is targeted at females, men are of course welcome to join.

Sarah Park - Even Capital
Sarah is an avid investor in early-stage companies, sharing with Even Capital co-founder Anna Stuck a particular interest in visionary female-driven companies.
Following an extensive career in corporate finance and capital markets, Sarah evolved her focus towards full time investment and governance. Alongside her involvement in Even Capital, Sarah holds Independent Directorship and Audit and Risk Chair roles across a number of prominent organisations. Sarah drives the day-to-day management of Even Capital.

Co-founder and CSO of Opo Bio; From the cell up, this start-up enables large scale cultivated meat production through cell line optimisation and cell specific ingredient design.

Programme Manager* at Soda; Connecting businesses of all sizes, industries and stages to the right advice, support, resources and funding, to accelerate business growth and drive innovation. With the introduction of 'Power Lunches' for ambitious female founders.
*Erena now works at Sprout Agritech but is representing Soda for this event.

Mitali Purohit - Nuance Connected Capital
Mitali has strong public and private sector experience in early-stage commercialisation, particularly deep-tech. Most recently, Mitali led the $150M Technology Incubator Programme at Callaghan Innovation, where she oversaw deep-tech commercialisation through a Government partnership with technology incubators.
Previously Mitali led the establishment of the ArcAngels Fund while at Icehouse Ventures. Mitali is passionate about working with ventures that have strong social and environmental impact and is a staunch supporter of female entrepreneurship.
